DICODIN L.P. 60 mg contains the active ingredient dihydrocodeine, a centrally acting opioid analgesic used for the short-term treatment of moderate to severe pain. Dihydrocodeine belongs to the group of narcotic painkillers and is considered significantly more potent than codeine.

The active ingredient exerts its effect via the central nervous system (CNS). It influences the processing and transmission of pain signals in the brain and spinal cord, which can reduce the perception of pain. In addition to its analgesic effect, dihydrocodeine may also cause calming effects, which some users perceive as relaxing.
