Lexomil / Lexotanil is a medicinal product containing the active ingredient bromazepam, which belongs to the group of benzodiazepines. In medical practice, bromazepam is mainly used for the short-term treatment of acute anxiety, tension and states of inner restlessness. Due to its mechanism of action, it may also produce calming and sleep-promoting effects.

The active ingredient affects the central nervous system by enhancing the effect of the inhibitory neurotransmitter GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid). This reduces excessive neuronal activity and may lead to a reduction of anxiety, inner restlessness and nervous tension. Many users experience this effect as stabilising and relaxing.
